Levanta Tu Voz (Raise Your Voice) educates and empowers Latino communities on the immediate impacts of rushed energy policies. We actively support diverse Latino voices by advocating for fair and inclusive decisions.
Even though Latinos will be disproportionately impacted by a rushed energy transition, California politicians and media are failing to include Latino voices on energy and climate issues. Elected officials admit the transition will be hardest on middle-and low-income Californians, but their only answers are public transportation, more bus lanes and bike paths. Efforts to improve air quality and fight climate change are important but will only work if the solutions are affordable for everyone.
Levanta Tu Voz is calling for Latinos to join the conversation around energy policies that affect their livelihoods and their community, empowering communities to help advance a path for legislative change.

WHO WE ARE
Levanta Tu Voz is a program of the Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA) created to empower voices of the Latino community across California.
WSPA has been working with—and listening to—the Latino community over the last several years to co-create a program where Latino voices and perspectives can be part of the energy and climate conversation.
